Description:  NS 50Z with an epic consist straight from the Heritage Family Portrait event blasts through downtown Leesville! NS 8025 (MON Unit), NS 8114 (Original NS unit), and NS 1030 (NS ACe on display during the event) make a first time appearance on the R-Line leading a Monetta bound grain train! Also this is the first time the MON unit has lead a train since being painted in the Heritage scheme! Note the rest of the train streached out in my side mirror!

Description:  AMTK 184 finally makes an appearance on the East Coast after being held 'captive' out West. Seen here on the point of Amtrak Train #91, the Southbound Silver Star, as it makes a 5 minute station stop at the Denmark Station before continuing south to the Sunshine State of Florida. This is my personal favorite of the Amtrak Heritage Fleet.

Description:  Here is the only photo I was able to take of the derailment involving NS 156. The train hit a broken rail, 8 out of 10 cars on the ground including the locomotives. Local Sheriffs would not allow us any closer to the site due to Norfolk Southern was about to turn over a tanker carrying Sulfuric Acid.
